ABOUT US
Hi my name is Emily and I own the Emi B Designs. The Business has morphed and evolved over the years as I have found what works and what doesn't and most importantly what you want to Learn and how I can do that best!

I am so excited to be able to reach more of you by offering online courses, subscription club and lots of other online content.
​
As some of you may know I recently won Sewing Streets search for a sewing star! It was the best experience ever and I am so happy to now be there next guest demonstrator.
2016
in 2016 I taught my first sewing classes and from then did it as a part time thing in different shops until the beginning of 2018 I decided to go at it full time.
MAY
2018
In May 2018 i changed the direction of my Business to sewing kits and sewing patterns all written by me and I took part in Barnsley Youth Market which I went on and won. I was then able to go to the national competition in Stratford Upon Avon at the end of August where I won a highly commended award. I was and still am over the moon.
OCTOBER
2018
I had such great feedback from judges at both competitions and my business began to grow I was being asked for classes in Barnsley. This is when the sewing school was born. In October 2018 I opened the doors to a creative sewing place. I run classes for everyone and they have been a great success and continue to grow.
2022
Fast forward a couple of years, after the coronavirus pandemic things changed for my business as it did for so many.
In April 2022 I was a finalist in Sewing Street's search for a sewing star and went on to win. I am now a guest demonstrator on the show.
My business is all about giving you the confidence to sew and making it as simple as possible through online courses, the sewing stitches club and other online content.
